3D Environment Artist

Triumph Studios is looking for a 3D Environment Artist to bolster its creative team. With our team of artists and creative leads, you’ll develop a stand-out look for our games. You’ll create 3D environments matching the artistic vision and gameplay of our games.

Responsibilities

• Create a beautiful and immersive game world for our players.

• Create structures, biomes and other assets for our games, collaborating closely with the art team, but also with game designers and creative leads.
• Craft detailed and readable assets.

Requirements:

• Mastery of 3D art fundamentals:
• Understanding of the complete 3D art creation pipeline
• You have a broad range of interests you can tap into: cultures from around the world, fantasy, symbolism, sci-fi etc.
• Experience in one or more 3D applications (3ds Max, Maya, or other)
• Ability to adapt to, follow and help develop a variety of artistic styles.
• Articulate in contextualizing decisions, communicating ideas and giving and receiving feedback.
• Comfortable using English in spoken and written form.
• Work on-site in our studio in Delft (brand new comfortable office!)

• A passion for the strategy game genre
• experience with Substance designer
• Terrain generators
• Modular workflows
