Job description
To create and evolve functional and technical design throughout service development while maintaining adherence to specifications, quality & performance requirements, technical constraints, and architecture standards.
As an expert, guiding teams and external partners to ensure delivery in line with companies' guidelines and standards in IT solutions and business processes within the Supply Chain domain.
Principal Accountabilities:
Solution Architecture:
Responsible for the overall standards and direction of architecture in the applications domain within the IT Organization;
Determine the logical design and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data in a new target state;
Guide external partner resources ensuring delivery according to the standards and providing essential knowledge support;
Custodian of the solution documentation;
Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI), and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse;
Identify the data assets that are deemed significant to the enterprise, as determined by the business impact, decision impact, risk mitigation, or organizational impact of the information;
Model the future state of the data architecture and provide data architecture best practices and guidelines;
Ensure the application design at the project/program level is aligned with the application and information architecture standards;
Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in the specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services;
Provide guidance to project teams during the design phase.
Business Analysis:
Analyze and refine functional and non-functional requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business;
Design process flows in unified modeling language (UML);
Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of projects;
Asses gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders, and provide actionable insights;
Develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time, and resources to deploy solutions;
Develop project estimates & complete financial model (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon, etc).
Technical Design:
Create detailed process designs that are necessary to operate the new service on a day-to-day basis;
Ensure designs produced adhere to the architectural roadmap and support the development, execution, and operations of service;
Ensure detailed designs match high-level designs and are traceable to requirements in the functional specification;

Profile of candidate
Education, qualifications, and training:
- Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- SAP Certificate on MM, WM;
- SAP S4 knowledge;
- English (advanced).
Experience required:
- 5-8 years of experience in architecture and technical design, application development, project management, and analysis preferably within FMCG;
- 5-8 years of experience in business understanding and acumen, enabling business partnerships preferably within FMCG;
- 5-8 years of experience as Senior SAP S4 MM / WM consultant;
- Experience in Demand Planning and Supply Planning Solutions (O9, Kinaxis, Arkieva).
Specialized knowledge or skills required:
- SAP S4 MM / WM;
- Functional knowledge of Demand Planning and Supply Planning Solutions;
- Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical modeling, especially for rationalizing data objects;
- Good understanding of the application & information architecture standards and components;
- Ability to collaborate with information architects, content architects, and other data architects to support common goals and approaches;
- Ability to define the value of the technology or data asset to the enterprise;
- Analytical thinking abilities and client-facing communication skills;
- Knowledge of end-to-end development process;
- Proven technical aptitude in one or more application domains;
- Ability to learn and implement emerging technologies;
- Knowledge of business processes and their linkage to technology.
Critical technical-functional (professional) competencies:
- Experience with ERP and IT capability solutions, which support business processes;
- Ability to orchestrate the delivery of multiple IT projects, which are being executed by external resources and system integrators;
- Ability to define standards for delivery within the specific IT Domain (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, integration, etc.);
- Ability to coach and instruct internal and external resources on how to deliver IT capabilities according to defined standards;
- Team player;
- Travel required. Not expected to be more than 1 week per month.
