The Food Science & Technology Laboratory is one of the centres of excellence working for Specialized Nutrition within Nutricia Research. The main purpose of the Food Science & Technology Laboratory is to conduct physical-chemical analyses and support stakeholders. The Food Science and Technology Laboratory is located in the Utrecht facilities.

- Support new product development and product improvement projects worldwide
- Interpret analysis results and give recommendations to Product and Process Developers
- Interact with colleagues in Product and Process Development, external laboratories, and suppliers
- Evaluate and improve analysis methods
- Securing the status and condition of equipment within the scope of the Food Science and Technology
- Report to the team leader Laboratory of the Food Science and Technology Laboratory
Preferably an MLO/(HLO) in Food Science, laboratory analysis or similar through experience. Relevant and demonstrable work experience with physical-chemical analyses in the food sector. Someone who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, eager to grow in expertise and/or specialty with a low risk of transversal transition 1-5 years (internally). Affinity with physical-chemical analyses and dairy technology. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. Personal skills: strong organizational skills, pro-active, customer-oriented, eye for quality, analytic and creative mind, open, enthusiastic and team player.
